Kim was born in York, PA and
has lived in that area his entire life. He is the youngest of the two children in his family. Growing
up, he enjoyed sports, especially his love of baseball. He was raised in a Christian home and he began singing
in church at the young age of five.
After high school, Kim went on to play
baseball at York College and graduated from there with a degree in accounting and later an MBA in business finance.
He has been self employed for the last 20 years. After college, Kim married his high school sweetheart, Tanya, in
November of 1981 and they have two children, Tyler and Kelsey.
Kim has been singing in choirs, quartets
and solo for many years and has, on occasion, been seen playing the guitar and singing. Singing with KSQ has been an
answer to long-term prayers, as he was looking to serve the Lord in a new and different way. Kim had this to say, "What
a blessing to sing praises to the Lord along side three wonderful, talented musicians who also love the Lord."
Kim is the one you'll see out doing push
ups or some other type of exercise between concerts, and he'll even tell you he enjoys it.
